Dr. Ferzli earned his undergraduate and masters degree at Georgetown University. He then obtained his Medical Degree (MD) and completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at SUNY Downstate Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then continued his education and training in the highly coveted Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in the Upper East Side of NY. He trained with world-renowned surgeons including Dr. Thomas Romo III, Dr. Steven Pearlman, and Dr. Peter Costantino.
Dr. Ferzli has numerous scientific publications, book chapters, and presentations in cutting edge research involving Facial Plastic Surgery. He also is the owner of several patents in medicine and surgery. He is an active member in the American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology. Dr. Ferzli also serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the Little Baby Face Foundation and provides pro bono surgical care to children with craniofacial defects including cleft lip and palate repair from all over the world.
